Star Trek: Fist Contact Short review

Any of you who may know me will know I've always been hesitant about the Star Trek series as a whole. I don't know, whether by the fans or by the chessieness of the original show, I just never got into it because it seemed like a "Nerd" show.

Hooray for Hiatus!

Hello all those Undefined Gamer readers, as many of you may have noticed for the last 24 days this Blog has been in a state of hiatus. Why? Well I just got tired out doing reviews and needed some time to relax, kick back, and ignore my Summer Reading assignments. But the reviews will return. Just not right now. Now I'm focusing mainly on my Youtube channel (www.youtube.com/user/thechapmaniac4) and taking time to focus on producing my upcoming series, Origins of the Shadows, a sequel series to my first breakout series, Pointless Bionicle Deathmatch. Be sure to check it out.

However as regular reviews go back into hiatus, other content will not. I will launch a new series of posts called "This is F**king Stupid" where you'll see me rant on about whats wrong with the world and all that yadda yadda yadda.

Have a nice summer you guys and I will get back ta ya later

One Year Blogging: Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (Wii)

Lego Star Wars to me have just become classic. They sucessfully managed to integrate the most memorable moments in the Star Wars movies while still creating something entirely new, with sprinkles of hmor thrown in between. However, I had to admit I was skeptical, as for the third (technically fourth) installment of this classic franchise was anything but; behold, the controversial Clone Wars TV show!

One Year Blogging: Legend Of Spyro: A New Begining (DS)

I've got to say, Spyro is one of my favorite video game characters. Being as I grew up an angry Playstation fan early on as I had owned an original Playstation, growing up with parents who knew I would break it (and I did!), I had only been trusted with a select few games to play. The forefront o these, was the Original Spyro. From what I remembered, it was an incredibly fun and enthralling game for a newvie, though it did go by fast. So, when Sierra announced a reboot of their gem, of course I bought the game. Unfortunately for the DS.

I Hate My Life: Pokemon Black and White 2

Get this shit out of my face. What did we do to deserve this???? NINTENDO YOU'VE GOT SOME 'SPLAINING TO DO!!!!
First, let me explain my frustration. I recently bought Pokemon White version. I hated it so far. The starters are so weak and forgettable, as are all the assortment thus far (I'll do a full review when I finish the game). The crappy designs and lack of kickass evolutions couped with the difficulty level that was not present in Heartgold and before just make the game something I can put down easily. Not even the story seems interesting enough. I personally hate Unova (where the game takes place). So when I heard rumors of pokemon gray, I had my fingers crossed. I ignored the existance of these pieces of ass shit right up until they hit shelves in Japan.
Why? Why? Why? You could've at least given us the courtesy to name the games a different color, something cool like Lightning Version, but no, they just pulled everything about these games out of there asses. Don't believe me? Look at the two new trainers:

Legend Of Korra Episode 10 Thoughts: Amon going Balls-Out

Today's episode has love triangles heating up, labor, and flying airships. This is Legend of Korra episode 10.
The episode begins with Korra recovering at home under Mako's care, which of course gets Assami pissed. However while the children deal with their little love triangle (or love square; Bolin likes Korra, Korra likes Mako, Mako likes Assami and Korra, Assami likes Mako, Luke Skywalker likes Leia, Mustard likes Salt, er.... dammit!), the adults deal with one of their own. While off on a meeting, Tenzin asks if Lin Beifong can look after the woman he chose to marry over her and look after the children she dreamed of having. Well ain't that nice?

Kung Fu Panda 2 Review

Remember Kung Fu Panda? Of course, who hasn't. Well I finally got around to seeing this movie a whole year after it came out. Since then, we've had an entire series on Nickelodeon (yes I still watch a select few shows there). The show? It's alright. I mean it's enteraining enough and has decent writing. Though if you watch a marathon of them you'll find the same basic plot elements in every episode. But what of this movie? Let's find out.

Best Shit Of E3 2012

Well Around this time this blog didn't exist. So this is sort of my first E3 on this blog. Without further to do, let's just name off some of the highlights of E3 2012!

Snow White Is 0 For 2

As the first reviews for Snow White And The Huntsman and as I've seen and reviewed its counterpart, Mirror Mirror, one thing is very apparent: they're not very good. I've already whent over what wrong with Mirror Mirror, but apparently Snow White and The Huntsman starts out just too... fairytalelike. Sort of like a disney cartoon. Then it gets ugly and dark, fast. Although from what I've scavenged from random reviews, the movie has epic parts, but acting and other problems ruins the movie, while they so desperstely try to contain all the magic and wonderfulness Alice and Wonderland  got two years ago. I mean, come on You have two shots. How did they manage to botch it up twice?

Don't Make A Monkey Out Of Me!: Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes Review

What happens when you try to make a man out of a monkey? Well just ask James Franco and Tom Felton. It has shocking results!

Legend Of Korra Episode 9 Thoughts: There can only be one Troll in This Town!!!

Back from the chilling cliffhanger of last week, Korra finds herself in a metal box deep in Tarlok's basement, while Former Chief Beifong breaks her friends out of prison! Meanwhile Amon is quietly in the background, waiting to jump out at any moment! Get ready folks! The unprecedented love triangle returns, the action comes back, we get full cut scenes of adult Aang, and Tarlok, well Tarcock is just the big ol' cock we know and love. This is Legend of Korra Episode 9.

I Have Been Blown In The Mind!!!: Wreak It Ralph

Rich Moore, who has Futurama and The Simpsons experience, decided to team up with Disney to, well blow the inner nerds in all of us with his awesome juice!!! If you've ever played videos games, it's very hard not to geek out at site of all your favorite video game villains (except for Gannon, King Dedede, and those aliens from Halo... hey shut up!!!). in one room! I mean, my first impression was HOLY SHIT!!! THIS IS THE AVENGERS OF VIDEO GAMES!!!
NERD OUT MODE TURN ON!!!

Legend Of Korra Episode 8 Thoughts: Tarlok, Or Should I Say Tarcock

Man, one week without this show and it feels like forever! Where were we again? Ah! Yes, Assami has just kicked her father's ass and decided to take Korra up on her offer and stay at the air temple with Bolin and Mako. However watching four teenagers live peacefully is boring. So Nickelodeon decided that the four should fight the Equilists themselves, without the aid of Tarloc's task force or the Meta lBending Corps, now under new leadership, don't worry he's just a puppet under Tarloc.
Speaking of Tarloc, where has he been the last couple episodes? It seems his task force has just blended into the background as Korra has been involved in Pro Bending and getting her ass kicked by Amon multiple times. Well, here he is!

Cinema Won Crossover: "Men in Black: The Series" Review

Hello Undefined Gamer readers! It's Alex from Cinema Won. And I'm here to crossover once again to talk to you about something very special. Did you know that there was an animated TV series based off of the Men In Black movies? Well, neither did I, but Target remembered and in honor of Men in Black 3, they released the entire first season of the show on DVD. And I watched it. So, this is Men in Black: The Series!

Inception Review

I'm pretty sure I'm the last person to see this movie. Why? Well, it's sorta Super Mario Galaxy crossed with the twighlight zone with sprinkles of Back to the Future. This movie has it all. Action, deception, paradox, imagination, violence, everything you can name save romance and porn.

Batman: The Brave And The Bold The Videogame Review

Hey remember Batman The Animated Series? Well this isn't that. Go cry uncontrollably NOW, because if you watched the pile of shit associated with this video game up above, you have good reason to. This is a game  dedicated to a crappy show. So one might say it's safe to assume it's shit, right? Dive into your batcostumes and cheap plastic Batarangs and find out.

Legend Of Korra Episode 7 Thoughts: Assami Kicks Some Ass!

Finally! The conclusion to the stupid love triangle! And no, as many of you who might be mislead by the picture above, it doesn't end the way you think it ends!
Let's not waste any more time! let's head in to this mess!
The episode starts with rising suspicion that Mr. Sato, the guy who sponsored the Fire Ferrets and who is also Assami, Mako's love interest's father, is supporting the Equalists. This all starts when Korra overhears him on the telephone. And just as it would have it, once they raid his mansion, they find nothing. But as we already used up our filler episode back in like episode 5 or so, and this is a miniseries, something dramatic obviously must happen. No filler for you. Go home. The action is about to begin!

Ant-Man Movie

It has been announced that Edgar Wright is set to direct an action film for one of the absent members of the Avengers and eventually to include him in the next Avengers. Now, being that Ant Man was one of the founding members of the Avengers in the comics, this may be kind of awkward to destroy any continuity with the comics just to add him as a newbie, but hey we're getting build-up for the next Avengers movie. Boo-rah/

Amon Powns Everything; Legend Of Korra Episode 6 Thoughts

So after an uninteresting love triangle, we find our heroes facing off the Pricky former Champions in the Tournamnet. But wait, Amon suddenly gives a f*ck abour sports! He commands over the radio (idk, maybe he hacked it), that they had better shut down the Pro Bending matches or.... bad things will happen. Oooh what is he going to do? Take off his shy guy mask?

The Quest For Karn Book Review

I told you that these would return. So anyways today I will talk about a little book named Magic The Gathering: The Quest For Karn. Those with weak constitutions will most likely faint while reading this book. Let's dive into the awesome horrors of Magic!

Pokemon Grey Version Expectations

We all knew this was coming. With Pokemon Black and White getting rave reviews unfortunately it was inedivable that another adventure in the Unova Region was in store for us Bet what the hell did they do to the new legendary?
Being that the new version is rumored to be pokemon Grey Version (unfortunately I learned most people don't know hoe to spell Grey based off of the fake cover art), It will be a combination of Black and White version with a little extra added in there, sort of like this generation's equivallent of Pokemon Platinum version. Only here they have attempted to also merge Black and White's legendaries into one big epic legendary, but honestly it just comes out as something they decided to throw into a blender. Pokemon is running out of pokemon designs. What else can I say.

Legend of Korra Episode 5 Thoughts: Finally some filler episodes!

Viewers from last week will remember how this series was in quite a rush to get their main story arc off the ground, leaving all us Avatar starved fans essentially biting off more than we could process. I mean, come on, didn't they learn from the holocaust that you don't feed starving people who are about to collapse due to malnutrition steak, or they'll keel over. I mean, come on, doesn't everybody remember this:

Amon is a troll: Legend of Korra Episode 4 Thoughts

Remember all those commercials about this big face off between Korra and Amon? You know, where Korra gets captured and is about to lose her bending? Turns out they where all horse crap. Time to dwell and explore into the trolly recesses of Legend of Korra Episode 4.

Legend Of Korra Episode 3 Thoughts

Today's episode had Korra take on the Equilist movement as Mako's idiot brother goes to find work bodyguarding for a criminal organization, and ends up getting captured by the Equilists. Together, Mako and Korra have to ride into a Rally on their magical dog/polar bear to save his bacon!

Mirror Mirror Review

I bet you've all been warned to stay away from this apparent piece of dog crap. But is it REALLY that bad? It looks harmless enough. Let's embark on a journey of mystical bullshit to find out!

On The Legend Of Korra

Anyone who has tuned into Nickelodeon the last week might've caught the pilot episode for Avatar: the Last Airbender spin-off series, the Legend Of Korra. And seeing as I'm blogging about it now, yes, I've seen it. So how was it? Time to find out.

Pokemon: Conquest Thoughts

Fans of the Pokemon TV series and movies will know that there exists a rare phenomenon known as a pokemon war. These events are described as terrible ordeals and shouls be discouraged. So of course Nintendo goes out and makes a game about it. This is Pokemon Conquest.

Alvin and The Chipmunks:Chipwrecked Review

Remember yesterday when I went over that piece of crap Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel? Well, turns out Warner decided that that movie got such rave reviews that another sequel was in order. Enter the Chupwreck if you dare.

I remeber when I first saw this poster. I was at the movie theatre to see the Smurfs, and sticking out from Batman: The Dark Night and Fast and the Furious 5 was this monstrosity, taunting me with its piss-yellow background. And man did I get pissed. I was lucky The Smurfs was able to calm me down with it's decency, because god. If Alvin and the Chipmunks can continue making movies after Squekquel, it can do anything.

Chipmunks Can't Write: The Squeakwell Review

Remember that terribly unfunny Alvin  and The Chipmunks movie? Who doesn't, with it's cliched messages about "family", friends, and of course, cages, Alvin and The Chipmunks the Movie was a terrible piece of ass-shit that kids just ate up. So where next? Well, we all saw that in the classic cartoon the chipmunks, who basically where either deformed or horribly mutated by some way, where the size of an average kid, and had love interests with normal kids.

Updates

So yes I know these updates have been coming. And yes, the process to make them is mind-numbingly boring. But I know, for your convenience, that they had to happen. Soon I hope to have a page up with all my reviews, be it Video Games, Movies, or books, and soon I hope to experiment with my own photoshop images as I have Gimp and Paint.net. And suggestions that you guys want will be apreciated.

Rant on Self-Published books

Have any of you been on Lulu.com? I feel so sorry for you.
Seriously, this crap has gotten out of hand. Really, just because you CAN self-publish anything DOESN'T mean you should. For the same reason that if I wanted to crap all over your SUV in public, be that it'll be messy and would tarnish my reputation. The same rules apply to making books. I mean you wouldn't nail a piece of shit to your office desk, so why basically would you barf all over your brand-new spiral notebook and publish it on Lulu.com?

Mini Review Monstrosity

100 Posts ago I started this blog as the Video Gamaniac. It did alright so I continued it. So, how will I celebrate this glorious occasion? I'm going to spam you with mini reviews!

Eraser-

Yes, another Arnold Scwartzenegger film. This time Arnold again takes on the name John, with no relation from the other John from his Commando performance, works for... some goverment oganization essentially hiding people who have a death sentence over their head, be it gang boss, reporter, or spy. The main story follows John protecting a woman who was working for the FBI undercover to investigate a Terror scandal orchestrated by the sinister Cyrex Corporation. And no, the FBI didn't even think of doing simple things like oh TAKING OUT THE CAMERAS. So needless to say it didn't go well. For the rest of the movie Schwartzenegger is forced to protect the dumbass from being hunted down by Cyrex officials, only to uncover a deeper deception from his very boss himself, played by James Caan, has very strict agreements with Cyrex and actually ends up attempting to murder Arnold. Intense as ever, the writing though, overshadows everything.

Kid Icarus Anime Series

Anyone who has Nintendo Video on their 3DS and Internet may know that presently their 3DS SD card has been spammed with an onslaught of Kid Icarus 3D Anime Videos. So why the hell is Nintendo burning money to produce anime they're just giving away for free? I mean, it's not like they're any other franchise that could've used that mon---
Yes, yes I know, I've been going on and on on how little attention this franchise gets, hell Nintendo "forgot" about it for nearly seven years. Honestly Kid Icarus went through worse, a grand whopping total of two decades without a title, but that doesn't mean Nintendo should be throwing money away that could be used to bring Golden Sun 4 to us by Christmas. I don't want to wait another seven f*cking years because Shigeru Miyamoto and Reggie Phils-Aim want to continually burn money on usleless and pointless animes. Honestly, if there was a Golden Sun Anime, the quality would be twice as good, and people would be hell determined to pay. GS fans endured seven long, lonely years, but, god! At least they could package this on a DVD.
