Legend Of Korra Episode 3 Thoughts

Today's episode had Korra take on the Equilist movement as Mako's idiot brother goes to find work bodyguarding for a criminal organization, and ends up getting captured by the Equilists. Together, Mako and Korra have to ride into a Rally on their magical dog/polar bear to save his bacon!

On The Legend Of Korra

Anyone who has tuned into Nickelodeon the last week might've caught the pilot episode for Avatar: the Last Airbender spin-off series, the Legend Of Korra. And seeing as I'm blogging about it now, yes, I've seen it. So how was it? Time to find out.

Pokemon: Conquest Thoughts

Fans of the Pokemon TV series and movies will know that there exists a rare phenomenon known as a pokemon war. These events are described as terrible ordeals and shouls be discouraged. So of course Nintendo goes out and makes a game about it. This is Pokemon Conquest.

Alvin and The Chipmunks:Chipwrecked Review

Remember yesterday when I went over that piece of crap Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel? Well, turns out Warner decided that that movie got such rave reviews that another sequel was in order. Enter the Chupwreck if you dare.

I remeber when I first saw this poster. I was at the movie theatre to see the Smurfs, and sticking out from Batman: The Dark Night and Fast and the Furious 5 was this monstrosity, taunting me with its piss-yellow background. And man did I get pissed. I was lucky The Smurfs was able to calm me down with it's decency, because god. If Alvin and the Chipmunks can continue making movies after Squekquel, it can do anything.

Chipmunks Can't Write: The Squeakwell Review

Remember that terribly unfunny Alvin  and The Chipmunks movie? Who doesn't, with it's cliched messages about "family", friends, and of course, cages, Alvin and The Chipmunks the Movie was a terrible piece of ass-shit that kids just ate up. So where next? Well, we all saw that in the classic cartoon the chipmunks, who basically where either deformed or horribly mutated by some way, where the size of an average kid, and had love interests with normal kids.

So yes I know these updates have been coming. And yes, the process to make them is mind-numbingly boring. But I know, for your convenience, that they had to happen. Soon I hope to have a page up with all my reviews, be it Video Games, Movies, or books, and soon I hope to experiment with my own photoshop images as I have Gimp and Paint.net. And suggestions that you guys want will be apreciated.

Don't be afraid to comment, Blogger won't bite.

Rant on Self-Published books

Have any of you been on Lulu.com? I feel so sorry for you.
Seriously, this crap has gotten out of hand. Really, just because you CAN self-publish anything DOESN'T mean you should. For the same reason that if I wanted to crap all over your SUV in public, be that it'll be messy and would tarnish my reputation. The same rules apply to making books. I mean you wouldn't nail a piece of shit to your office desk, so why basically would you barf all over your brand-new spiral notebook and publish it on Lulu.com?

Mini Review Monstrosity

100 Posts ago I started this blog as the Video Gamaniac. It did alright so I continued it. So, how will I celebrate this glorious occasion? I'm going to spam you with mini reviews!

Yes, another Arnold Scwartzenegger film. This time Arnold again takes on the name John, with no relation from the other John from his Commando performance, works for... some goverment oganization essentially hiding people who have a death sentence over their head, be it gang boss, reporter, or spy. The main story follows John protecting a woman who was working for the FBI undercover to investigate a Terror scandal orchestrated by the sinister Cyrex Corporation. And no, the FBI didn't even think of doing simple things like oh TAKING OUT THE CAMERAS. So needless to say it didn't go well. For the rest of the movie Schwartzenegger is forced to protect the dumbass from being hunted down by Cyrex officials, only to uncover a deeper deception from his very boss himself, played by James Caan, has very strict agreements with Cyrex and actually ends up attempting to murder Arnold. Intense as ever, the writing though, overshadows everything.
